ZZZW: Für Schneidezahn-Kronen ist die Materialwahl klar

Naturally very translucent

Incisors are very special teeth. Humans use them to bite off food. Incisors are therefore relatively sharp and lie in the front of the jaw.

If you want to put an artificial crown on an incisor, as with all crowns, the question of the right material arises. For us there is only one answer – all-ceramic. The reason: all-ceramic best matches the visual character of the front teeth, which are naturally very translucent.

All-ceramic also offers the patient and us as practitioners a wide range of material options. They range from very hard zircon to glass ceramic.

And the dear money? Regardless of the material used, the statutory health insurance pays a fixed allowance. What can vary, of course, is the patient co-payment. It depends on factors such as effort and desired individual adjustments.
