To be able to smile longer with the third teeth

Everything without toothpaste!

Regular and careful cleaning of your dentures is essential so that you can benefit from your third party for as long as possible. These tips should help you:

It is important that you clean the denture thoroughly once a day, both on the outside and the inside. In contrast to natural teeth, we recommend a special denture toothbrush that will help you get into the small hollows.

And: do not use toothpaste! This can roughen the plastic of the prosthesis. Instead, put pH-neutral soap or washing paste on the brush. Experience has shown that we have to educate many of our patients about the correct cleaning technique.

The following applies: First clean the outside of the prosthesis with circular, brushing movements, then the inside, the chewing surfaces and niches. And finally, clean the saddle of the prosthesis.

When you take out the prosthesis, you should only touch the sturdy plastic and metal parts. Please do not touch the filigree fastening elements! The third should be rinsed under running water after each meal.

But don’t panic! If you do not trust yourself to thoroughly clean your dentures, you can get help from the prophylaxis professionals in our clinic. Nothing can replace regular professional teeth cleaning.
